Concerning the fall...

Autumn has arrived in Houston, finally giving respite to the opressive humidity and 100 plus degree temperatures. This week the weather changed, and this weekend seems to have settled in to blue skies, warm breezes and earlier sunsets. I like this time of year - Thanksgiving is on the horizon, and America gears up for the holiday season.
On Wednesday I am taking my first proper vacation as a full time employee, and am heading up to Boston to meet with the parents et al. We'll be driving up through Maine, and then heading back across to New Hampshire, Vermont and maybe into upstate New York. Can't wait!
I'll be there for 10 days or so before returning to Houston for the 7 or so weeks that take us to Christmas.
Trust that all are doing well, and hope to see a bunch of you over the festive period.
