Going East...

As I write this, I am over the north Atlantic which seems to be the only place I get a chance to scribble this drivel nowadays.

We are over a perfectly smooth cloud layer, and there is a full moon out of the window to my left. I can see a bunch of other aircraft headed east too, with their contrails visible in the moonlight.

I have spent some miles to get a bed once again, and I'm about to settle in having had a pretty good meal of crab and mango salad, followed by steak. I chose the cheese platter for dessert, with liberal splashings of a great Italian red wine, as you will be able to attest given the floweriness of this prose! Splendid!

So, why the trip? Well, I am headed to the wedding of Dave and Rachel, back up near at Andrews. It'll be great to meet up with old freinds again.

Houston life is going well, and I have been enjoying work as well as flying, as well as biking... There has been a bit of time for some drinking too!

I have just signed another contract for a further year in my apartment, and have also finally got my hands on a window office at work, which actually makes a vast difference to my workday.

Anyway - I'm about to turn my seat into a 6 foot flat bed, not because I am tired, but just because I can...

Goodnight!
