Vista?

I think this is my first techy posting - so be warned...

For some unknown reason, I came in after many beers on Friday night, and thought it'd be a great time to install the Beta 2 version of Microsoft's new OS, Windows Vista.

Needless to say, it was an utter disaster, and I woke up on Saturday to discover that my computer didn't work anymore. Doh. However, rather than fixing it I went and played on my bike instead. And then went swimming. That was better.

However, once I'd done a nice fresh install, all was rather good and beautiful looking. So much so that I have made a couple of screengrabs for you to peruse at your leisure. It's all fairly cool looking, with a really good interface (tranlucency is king it appears), and the Media Centre that takes care of all my music, photos, tv and movies is really a big improvement on my old version.
